Dr. Richard Altwerger is a practicing podiatrist in Schodack and Troy, New York. He has been caring for his patients in the office and hospital for over 30 years. Dr. Altwerger completed his medical training and residency in New York City. He has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery since 1995. Dr. Altwerger is also Board Certified in Wound Care and is currently the Medical Director of the Wound Care Center at Albany Memorial Hospital. Dr. Altwerger has been an active member of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association for over 30 years, as well as a past president of that organization. Dr. Altwerger lectures on various medical topics at medical conferences and community organizations, and provides compassionate care for all foot conditions including preventative diabetic foot care, wound care, corrective foot surgery and sports injuries.

Dr. Timothy Fauler is a practicing podiatrist in Schodack, Troy, and Hoosick Falls, New York. He is a graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his three year residency at the Houston Podiatric Foundation where he was the assistant Chief Resident. Dr. Fauler is on staff at Samaritan Hospital, Albany Memorial Hospital, and St. Peter's Endoscopy and Outpatient Surgical Center. Dr. Fauler provides compassionate care for his patients, which often include painful conditions and deformities, such as bunions, hammertoes, ingrown toenails, diabetic foot care, heel pain, and dermatological conditions.
Dr. Scott Altman is a graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He has been practicing in his family-friendly East 61st Street location since 1981 and recently joined us, adding his expertise to Schodack Podiatry. Dr. Altman has been an active member of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association for over 30 years; he was elected the President of that Association in 2006–2007. In the 30 years of his active membership he has served on several boards and committees. Dr. Altman is also a member of the American Diabetes Association, American Fitness and Running Association, and the American Public Health Association.
